Three Places to Install Tubular Fencing Around Your Home

Upgrading your home's exterior provides an opportunity for you to get creative as you're improving the landscape. One way to go about this is to update the fencing, which once old and worn, can drag down the look of the entire garden. A popular option, tubular fencing, can fit in a variety of places around the home.

Pool

Pools allow you to holiday in your own backyard, but you always need to be mindful of safety and enclose the area with a sturdy barrier. The railings on tubular fences are close enough to prevent children from squeezing through, and their vertical design doesn't provide climbing foot-holes, so they securely partition off the pool area. Additionally, various fence heights are available which comply with safety standards.

To keep the deck area looking like a relaxing holiday resort, harmonise the fencing with the pool style and colouring. Tubular metal barriers are available in various hues such as black, green, blue or cream, and in diverse forms, ranging from minimalist flat top fences to ornate spearhead designs, giving you plenty of options to consider.

Front yard

Tubular fencing imparts an elegance that brick and timber fences can't match, which makes them ideal for creating a polished front fence around your home. Examine the shades of your home's architecture—the roof, cladding, or trim—to pick a complementary fencing hue. If your home is modern, you could choose a sleek, straightforward form, but for a traditional aesthetic, you might turn to elaborate and beautiful metal scrollwork.

Tubular fences, though, don't just enclose your home with beautiful metal designs, but they protect the property with their durable structure. And because the railing allows for an open view from the street, your home is safer than with an opaque fence that conceals robbers and intruders from view.

Patio

Even on a ground-level patio that doesn't require a barrier, you can install a tubular fence to organise and delineate the area. The metal will complement natural-stone-look or brick floor pavers while not obstructing the view to a beautiful lush garden beyond the terrace. Black railings will tend to disappear from view if you're after a discreet option, or you could install a classic creme tubular fence in a simple form.

Typically using aluminium or steel, the tubular metal won't rot or go mouldy even after prolonged rainfall. Aluminium naturally repels rust and so particularly suits coastal regions that are renowned for their corrosive salty sea air. Steel can rust, but galvanising treatments protect the inner metal with a zinc coating, plus powder-coating covers the railings with a hard layer of polyester paint that melds tightly to the metal once it bakes in a furnace.
